Eddie Briskey
I am Eddie Briskey, co-founder of CEC. With 20 years of experience, I've dedicated myself to teaching middle school and high school bands and orchestras. My academic journey includes bachelor's and master's degrees in Music Education, complemented by a master's in Educational Technology Leadership.
Throughout my career, I have fostered learning environments across diverse school districts, spanning various socioeconomic backgrounds. This exposure has enriched my understanding of educational dynamics and equipped me with adaptable teaching strategies.
Presently, I am actively engaged in a prestigious initiative, the Connected Arts Network, funded by the U.S. Department of Education. As a participant in this five-year national Fine Arts Professional Learning Community (PLC), I contribute to advancing pedagogical practices and promoting excellence in arts education on a national scale.
Roxy Briskey
Welcome to Crescendo Educational Consulting. I am Roxy Briskey, co-founder of CEC. My decision to co-found CEC was profoundly influenced by volunteering at my husband's band program events. I vivitally remember the first time hearing a marching band warm up for competition, the harmonious sound of 200 instruments, perfectly synchronized, verberated off the walls. I was in awe and continue to be.
This experience ignited my passion to ensure that every student and Fine Arts program receives the support they need by fostering collaboration among Fine Arts programs, families, and the communities they serve.
In addition to my role at CEC, I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Human Resources and Employment Law. Complementing my bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership Project Management, my educational journey has been meticulously crafted to explore the qualities that distinguish exceptional leaders and the implementation of effective strategies to achieve organizational objectives. Leveraging my MHRL degree, I delve into employment laws, conflict resolution techniques, and ethical considerations, equipping myself with a nuanced understanding of human resources management within legal frameworks. Concurrently, I have had the honor of interning with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the U.S. Department of Education - Technology, further enriching my professional experience.
