Eddie Briskey
I am Eddie Briskey, co-founder of CEC. With 20 years of experience, I've dedicated myself to teaching middle school and high school bands and orchestras. My academic journey includes bachelor's and master's degrees in Music Education, complemented by a master's in Educational Technology Leadership.

Throughout my career, I have fostered learning environments across diverse school districts, spanning various socioeconomic backgrounds. This exposure has enriched my understanding of educational dynamics and equipped me with adaptable teaching strategies.

Presently, I am actively engaged in a prestigious initiative, the Connected Arts Network, funded by the U.S. Department of Education. As a participant in this five-year national Fine Arts Professional Learning Community (PLC), I contribute to advancing pedagogical practices and promoting excellence in arts education on a national scale.

Roxy Briskey
Welcome! I am a Human Resources professional with advanced training in Employment Law, dedicated to creating workplaces where compliance, fairness, and dignity go hand in hand. My academic path from earning a B.A. in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Project Management to pursuing a Master of Human Resources and Employment Law reflects both scholarship and lived experience.

Having witnessed firsthand the harm caused by untrained HR leadership, I chose this field to ensure that others are not left feeling helpless, but instead empowered to thrive in organizations that honor both people and the law.

My training in employment law ensures compliance, my leadership background fosters trust and culture, and my project management expertise builds the systems that make it all sustainable. Together, these strengths allow me to design processes that not only meet legal requirements but also strengthen culture, reduce risk, and align organizational goals with values.
I aspire to advance HR as a field where legal compliance is not the ceiling but the foundation upon which thriving, people-centered organizations are built. My mission is to elevate HR beyond its transactional role, transforming it into a trusted discipline that protects people, nurtures culture, and makes organizations stronger from the inside out.
